Mari Viluksela is a finnish violist, who loves finding and performing forgotten pieces. She has a close affinity to both contemporary music and baroque music and believes that with classical music it is possible to make a difference in society.

 

She thinks it is important to examine the traditions and power structures of the classical music world critically, but never to forget the joy of music making and the power of live music.
